Amazon gift card

I came back this year for the Amazon gift card again. Now you are using "Green dot"? In the past years when you put a certain amount on a gift card they gave you a percentage, depending on the amount. So last year I basically got $30 if my fee back by getting a card for Amazon. Now Green dot is charging an extra $34 or $39! This is crazy!
Service is good and easy to use, but I am pretty sure there or others just as good, easy and cheaper.
