An unnecessary app for most

Intuit is one of the largest contributors towards lobbying efforts to keep tax filing complex. They also tend to try and get anyone with the most basic situation to hand over fees to them for services likely not to be used while filing. The IRS could easily automate the majority of Americans tax returns if our congressional representatives would stop being influenced by Intuits lobbying money and pass tax filing reform laws.
