Good, but should be better

Having used the app for the Deluxe version for both 2014 and 2015 tax years, there have been some noticeable improvements and overall the app is fairly intuitive and easy to use.

What I found the most irritating with the app is the lack of consistency on screens: some you swipe to go forward, for others you hit "Continue" and some you hit "Done" or answer a question to advance to the next screen.

Additionally, there r some complicated calculations that really need to b explained more (e.g. what #s they want entered to calculate childcare FSA) and u cant see the actual calculation on the tax form. The app does not allow you to see the completed tax forms directly like u can with the online or downloaded versions, so they need to do a much better job explaining exactly what amount they want entered. Also, if their checks determine u didnt fill something out correctly, the subsequent screens dont have all the necessary information and drop downs to fill out the missing info (e.g. school district list), thereby forcing u to go back to that section and start from the beginning. Its certainly better than doing the forms manually, but they could do a lot more to improve the user interface.
