I dont have a complicated tax return and dont require to file state taxes but was still amazed at how easy this FREE app and FREE federal filing process was. Highly recommended!

Intuit is one of the largest contributors towards lobbying efforts to keep tax filing complex. They also tend to try and get anyone with the most basic situation to hand over fees to them for services likely not to be used while filing. The IRS could easily automate the majority of Americans tax returns if our congressional representatives would stop being influenced by Intuits lobbying money and pass tax filing reform laws.

I have used TurboTax for many years and the program has evolved through the the years. I found the 2015 version both improved as well as a bit disappointing and definitely not as straight forward as their ad campaign may lead you to believe. Product pricing and additional "3rd" party fees for processing credit card payment are inordinate. After many years of returns I will seriously consider other options next year.

You cant beat that. Quick and easy, a real life saver for those of us who wait last minute

I love being able to do my taxes on my tablet! It is so much more convenient and much faster.The app is very intuitive and user friendly.

I love Turbo tax. This is my second year using it and I have to say" AMAZING". Easy to use, full of information, great recommendations and just overall full of knowledge. I trust it over the sales person at H&R whose Attitude affects their work. Attitude of turbo tax is the same all the time. Nice and bright!! Great idea and best DIY TAX option. Take a chance its worth it.

I like the ease of use of this app and it does do a decent job but the last few years it seems like they keep increasing the cost, trying to get you to pay for unnecessary upgrades and cornering you into paying more money. I do a simple return and pay $60 for Federal and another $40 for state. Then they did not have an option for me to pay with my credit card, because they only offer Apple Pay and my bank doesnt support that yet, I received the privilege of them taking another $40 out of my return because that was my only way to pay them. My tax return only took about 30 minutes, because I dont have anything special to record, and it cost $140. I think next year Ill just do them myself. The only thing that attracted me to this app years ago (when it was snap tax) was that I could just take a picture and verify info. This year there was also more mistakes to correct with missed info and filling in employer info wrong.

This is only my second year filing taxes. Maybe Im uneducated but this made my life 10x easier than it was before when I tried to do it the traditional way. They secure your info, if something is wrong it tells you, and when you need the help they have information step by step that is clear and understandable for everyone. I got my mom to switch from an accountant to turbotax because of how much it has helped me. I can say this is easily the best thing thats ever happened to me in my adult life that has helped me feel like a real adult. I love turbotax! Thank you for making things that much easier for me.

I think I swiped through the instructions too quickly because it took me a little bit to remember to swipe left to advance to the next screen. But the whole process was incredibly easy, and I wouldnt change a thing. The app has all the functionality it needs. Its laid out well. Grand execution on intuits part.

Its honestly so much easier then what the commercials say!, it was my first time filing and I was ready for some hard stuff but it was a breeze! Took me 30 minutes and boom, finished!! I recommend this to everyone who wants to do there taxes

Having used the app for the Deluxe version for both 2014 and 2015 tax years, there have been some noticeable improvements and overall the app is fairly intuitive and easy to use. What I found the most irritating with the app is the lack of consistency on screens: some you swipe to go forward, for others you hit "Continue" and some you hit "Done" or answer a question to advance to the next screen. Additionally, there r some complicated calculations that really need to b explained more (e.g. what #s they want entered to calculate childcare FSA) and u cant see the actual calculation on the tax form. The app does not allow you to see the completed tax forms directly like u can with the online or downloaded versions, so they need to do a much better job explaining exactly what amount they want entered. Also, if their checks determine u didnt fill something out correctly, the subsequent screens dont have all the necessary information and drop downs to fill out the missing info (e.g. school district list), thereby forcing u to go back to that section and start from the beginning. Its certainly better than doing the forms manually, but they could do a lot more to improve the user interface.

Very easy to use, love the customer service that they provide from inside the app its awesome. The only suggestion is, have detailed explanations of the terms and forms for us youngsters 18 and up who are filing by themselves for the first time because one of the faults of our education system is that they dont prepare us for real life situations like these so a lot of this just sounds foreign to us.

I disliked the 39.99 extra and mandatory fee for audit control and that you cant opt out when choosing the " pay with my refund" All those extra features are nice but if we have used the software for years, it is because we trust the software.? why is that predatory behavior about imposing a fee in a bundle. Very deceiving practice from the Green Bank too, they claim that your account is wrong and therefore you are charged penalties for processing fees and you ended up with a check on the mail. It has happened twice and I have verified my account and nothing wrong with it.

I would honestly give it no stars.

The fastest easiest way Ive ever filed my taxes! Definitely recommend!!
